He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Holt (Nicol) and Dr. Robert Holt; his wife Tressa; and his siblings, Helen Watt, Natomah Nelson, Harold Holt and James Holt (Pete).
He is survived by: his children, Maureen Mitchell (David) of Calgary and Ken of Lloydminster; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce Edwards of Sannichton, BC and Cecil Bayes of Brandon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
