She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Pirie and Aileen Pirie; her father-in-law Lorne Smith; and her brother-in-law Doug Smith. She is survived by: her husband Morris; her son Derek (Roxanne); her grandchildren, Courtnee, Tyler (Brooklyn), Kaitlyn (Jeff) and Quinn; her son Brent (Christy); her grandchildren, Rachel, Carlyn and Danielle; her son Aaron (Sarah); her grandsons, Bennett and Connor; her son Chad (Brooke); her grandchildren, Jaxon, Rowan and Maeve; her brother Vaughn Pirie (Louise); her mother-in-law Marjorie Smith; and her siblings-in-law, Elwood Smith (Linda), Barry Smith (Deb), Wes Smith (Michele), Marilyn van der Velden (Jan), Eldeen Borys (Dan), Kent Smith and Pat. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many close friends.
