She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Robert and Ethel Holt; her husband Clarence Nelson; and her siblings, Helen, Harold and Pete.

She is survived by: her daughter Eleanor; her grandchildren, Darren (Sorcha) and Lenora (Rick); her great grandchildren, Niamh and Áine; and her brother Pat.
