She was predeceased by: her husband Horace Gibbs; her daughters, Audrey Gibbs and Dorothy Winacott; and her grandson Daniel Gibbs. She is survived by: her children, Cathy Hickman (Ian), Dennis (Kay), Greg (Audrey), Joe (Lucy), Jon (Rebecca), Mick (Heather) and Tim (Sheila); her son-in-law Wayne Winacott; her grandchildren, Cindy Tough (Bobby), Randy Winacott (Dianne), Andrew Winacott (Kristina), Gilbert Winacott, Jeff Chacula (Joanne), Logan Gibbs (Elise), Shay Gibbs (Colby Moan), Taryn Gibbs (Cody Bolt), Corinne Hickman (Kevin Unger), Clint Hickman (Judy), Matthew Gibbs (Shivani Mukerji), Katrina Gibbs, Mary Anne Gibbs, Sarah Gibbs, Jacquelyn Moreau (Marc), Michael Gibbs, Ben Gibbs (Terena), David Gibbs, Nikita Gibbs, Kyliena Gibbs, Sadie Gibbs and Charlton Gibbs; her great grandchildren, Sydney, Jacob, Kyla, Damien, Mia, Gavin, Grace, Sarah, Christopher, Luca, Blake, Rylan, Declan, Layla, Tyson (Skye), Kyle, Julita and Diosdado; and her great great grandchild Gabriel.
In light of COVID-19 and current health guidelines the service for Monica will be a private family service.
Donations in memory of Monica may be made to the Islay Care Centre or Lloydminster Regional Health Foundation.
