She was predeceased by: her husband Henry; her daughter Verna; and her parents, Aimé Thibault and Marie-Anna Thibault. She is survived by: her children, Garry MacDonald (Sharon), Linda Duesener and Evelyn Steinke (Grant); and her grandchildren, Codey MacDonald, Lance MacDonald, Chad Duesener, Brenda Friesen, Cindy Perkins, Philip Steinke and Adele Steinke. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Marie-Rose may be made to Canadian Cancer Society.
