It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Raiter in Lloydminster, Alberta, who passed away on October 9, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Paul Lipka; and her brother Peter Lipka. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Raiter; her children, Donna Raiter, Calvin Raiter, Mark Raiter and Michael Raiter (Christine); her mother Teena Lipka; and her brother Richard Lipka.

Donations in memory of Loretta may be made to Lloydminster & District SPCA or any animal shelter of donor's choice.

“I first met Loretta when I worked for a summer as a nursing aid at Salem Manor. On my first day, Loretta's smile and friendly, helpful personality was what really stood out! Years later I returned to work at Salem as an RN and it was such a pleasure to work with her again. She was devoted to the residents and knew how to put the 'care' in care-giver. I'm so very sorry to hear she's gone so soon. My sympathies go out to Joe and the entire family.”
