He was predeceased by: his wife Leona; his sons, Lyle and David; his brother Orville; his parents-in-law, Edward and Lucienne Landry; and also, Frederick and Mildred Applegate.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Applegate (Lorette), Elaine (Ian Campbell) and Bonnie (Ken Jurick); his grandchildren, Nicholas Applegate, Bryce, Kevin Campbell, Matthew, Bradley, Jessie and Cassie; his great grandchildren, Zane, Raith, Quinn, Ariel, Austin, Hunter, Hannah and Emmett; his sister-in-law Lois Applegate; and his brother Leonard Applegate (Judy). He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in-law.
