She was predeceased by: her husband Lloyd Bekolay; her sons, Edwin Bekolay and Richard Bekolay; and her parents, Hanford McDonald and Violet McDonald.

She is survived by: her children, David Bekolay (Cathy), Dale Bekolay (Elaine), Kathryn MacKie (Dale) and Dianne Dion (Dean); her daughter-in-law Janet Bekolay (Kirk); her grandchildren, Garritt, Mike, Andrew (Crystal), Jason (Lori), Trevor (Emily), Erin (Austin), Erika (Shilo), Dalen, Derek, Cameron (Teri-Lynn), Junelle (Francis) and Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Michael, Claire, Jane, Rhian, Keegan, Joseph, Mykiah, Navayah, Uriah, Christian, Madison, Brooke and Lacey Lee. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
