She was predeceased by : her parents, Rudolph Stefaniszyn and Catherina Stefaniszyn. She is survived by : her husband David; her sons, Ryan and Dean (Jacqueline); and her siblings, Dorothy, Deloris, Julius and Ken. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Irene may be made to Stollery Children's Hospital.
