Gwendolyn Thornton Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn Thornton in Lloydminster, Alberta, who passed away on August 12, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald Thornton; her daughter Geraldine Killam; her parents, Emma Sandstrom and Alfred Sandstrom; her sisters, Maxine Geck and Marlane Sandstrom (Calvin Sandstrom); and her parents-in-law, Marjorie and Earl Thornton.

She is survived by: her children, Tracy Delorme, Ronald Thornton, Kelly Thornton (Tammy) and Jody Thornton; her grandchildren, Alex, Taylor, Braedan, Jenna, Blake, Riley, Tyson, Kennedy and Josh; her siblings, Darlene Bush and Garry Sandstrom (Diane); her siblings-in-law, Barry Thornton (Barb) and Mary Jean Tymchyshyn (Rod); and her son-in-law Bartley Killam. She is also survived by numerous extended family and friends.
