He was predeceased by: his son Darcy Stewart; his parents, Allan Stewart and Irene Stewart; and his brother-in-law Maynard Lougheed. He is survived by: his wife Rose Stewart of Lloydminster; his daughters, Shelly Martens (Bruce), Rosanne Newman (Ray) and Dawn Hardes (Miles); his grandchildren, Shauna Colson (Kelly), Shane St (Jane), Alexandra Newman, Emily Newman, Colt Hardes and Lacie Hardes; his great grandchildren, Kristopher Colson, Shelby Colson, Elizabeth St. Jean and Nicholas St. Jean; and his siblings, Gordon Stewart (Darleen), Joyce Brown (Bob), Beryl Lougheed, Vivian Alexander (Ron), Betty Horsnell (Andy), Grant Stewart (Lynn) and Janet Wagman (Jack). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
