He was predeceased by: his parents, Audrey Cooper and Ralph Cooper; his brother Barry Cooper; his parents-in-law, Eileen and Colin Ball; and his sister-in-law Coleen Ball.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Cooper; his daughters, Brenda Rieland (Brad), Sharlyn Graham (Tony), Connie Lavoie (Francis) and Glenda Armstrong (Ryan); his grandchildren, Aleshia, Leah, Caitlyn Rieland, Brooke, Ethan Graham, Madison, Cameron Lavoie, Parker and Taylor Armstrong; his brother Dwayne Cooper (Cathy); his sisters-in-law, Doreen Cooper and Naomi Broemeling (Dave); and his aunt Kathie Jack (David). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donations in memory of Glen may be made to Kitscoty Community Hall, Heart and Stroke Foundation or Cross Cancer Institute.
