He was predeceased by: his wife Thelma Hastings; his daughter Agnes Hastings; his parents, Wylie Hastings and Annie Hastings; and his brothers, Roy and Keith Hastings.
He is survived by: his children, Ken Hastings (Ann) of Surrey, Doug Hastings (Leona) of Invermere, Iris Davis (Bryon) of Lloydminster and Millie Benoit (Richard) of Calgary; his grandchildren, Laura Hastings, Riley, Angela Hastings, Matthew, Adam, Scott Davis (Kaycee), Megan, Nicole and Cameron Benoit; and his great grandchildren, Blake, Sophia and Jesse.
Donations in memory of George may be made to Canadian Cancer Society, Lloydminster Continuing Care or donor's charity of choice.
