He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Symchysn and Elsie Symchysn; and his siblings, Jim Simms, Ernie Symchysn, Olive Ryz, Mary Harluck and Elizabeth Pestyk.
He is survived by: his sisters, Norma Harris of Victoria, BC, Rose Petry of Winnipeg, MB and Vivian Henry (Steve) of Grande Prairie, AB..
