He was predeceased by : his wife Nellie Bannerman; his parents, William Bannerman and Annie Bannerman; and his siblings, George, Bob, Frank, Del, Dave, Greg, Jessie and Christina.

He is survived by : his daughter Shannon Bannerman; his grandson Matt Bannerman (Emma); his great grandchildren, Laila, Astrid, Bowie and Elowen; his siblings, Bill Bannerman (Ruth) and Nancy Constable; and his aunt Clara Davidson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Donations in memory of Fred may be made to Heart & Stroke Foundation.
