He was predeceased by: his wife Joan. He is survived by: his children, Tracy (Kerry Boyd), Sharla (Vang Ioannides) and Darren (Mariam Gill); and his grandchildren, Melina Ioannides, Meaghan Boyd, Eamon Boyd and Evelina King.

A private family service will be held in memory of Ed due to COVID-19 restrictions.
