He was predeceased by : his wife Jean Hames; his granddaughter Melina; his parents, Ted Hames and Pearl Hames; his parents-in-law, Dave and Golline Kvill; his sisters, Muriel Berry and Margaret Tulloch; and his brothers-in-law, Harold Berry, Ron Tulloch, Dale George and Gordon Meunier.

He is survived by : his daughter Debbie Hayduk (Matt); his grandchildren, Tezla (Dan Chmielewski), Natasha Motyer (Ryan) and Nicole Tuck (Chris); his son Todd Hames (Janine); his grandchildren, Justine Bristow (Tyson), Brittany Hames, Brooke Bustillo (Paul) and Shelby Hames; his son Murray Hames (Trudy); his granddaughters, Katelyn and Lisa; his great grandchildren, Edison, Nikolai Tuck and Caleb Bristow; his siblings-in-law, Arlene George, Darlene Meunier and Ken Kvill (Anne); and his close friend Marlene Hvidston. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and relatives.
