He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Parr and Laura Parr; his sister-in-law Ann; his nephew Grant; and his stepdaughter Shirley.

He is survived by: his significant other May Rahn; his children, Murray (Candace), Wanda (Tracy) and Geraldine; his stepchildren, Darlene (Bob), Larry, Val (Clinton) and Dale (Gloria); and his siblings, Lynn (Eleanor), Grant (Deb) and Sandra (Roger). He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
