He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Lindsay Eaton; his parents, Jack Eaton and Agnus Eaton; his brothers, Raymond Eaton, Harold Eaton and Jack Eaton; his brother-in-law Ian Allen; his nephews, Ken MacDonald and Gary MacDonald; his niece Marie Eaton; his great-nephew Dougie Eaton; and his great-niece Éva Eaton.

He is survived by: his wife Lanora Eaton; his children, Lynnell Duriez (Brian), Pat Eaton (Julianna) and Heath Eaton (Cori); his grandchildren, Walker Duriez (Danielle), Dryden Duriez (Brette), Bradley Wari (Nick), Kelby Eaton (Molly), Morgan Eaton (Taylor), Amber Eaton (Owain), Jaxon Eaton, Austyn Eaton and Benson Eaton; his great grandchildren, Abigail Duriez, Emma Wari, Brielle Wari and Clay Eaton; his siblings, Shirley Allen, Doreen MacDonald (Ron), Alexis Rieber (Ray) and Lynn Eaton (Elaine); and his sisters-in-law, Peggy Eaton and Erdine Eaton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
