He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his siblings, George, Dan, Irene Bateman and Mary Atchison; his sons-in-law, Darrell Haight and Dave Lysohirka; and his close friend Dorothy Crane.

He is survived by: his children, Rose Davey, Verna Haight, Martin (Veanna), Albert (Kerri), Robert and Alvin; his siblings, Iver (Dianne) and Lil Smith (Larry Hanson); and his grandson Coty Challman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
