Catherine McDow Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2020, at the age of 79, Catherine McDow (Lloydminster, Alberta), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pangburn and Florence Pangburn; her daughter Leslie Boehner (Don); and her husband Gerald McDow. She is survived by: her former husband Geoffrey Burton; her children, Shelley Burton of Edmonton, Kenneth Burton (Cathy) of Hammonds Plains, NS and David Burton (Tammy) of Lantz, NS.; her stepchildren, Marie McDow (David) of Truro, Douglas McDow (Sheri) of Cole Harbour and Gerald McDow (Patricia) of Beavebank, NS.; her sister Mary Foslett (Bill) of North Bay, ON; her parents-in-law, Marjorie McDow and Gerry Murley of Dartmouth; her sister-in-law Lorraine Hackett (Jim); and her grandchildren, Jared Burton, Ashley Jessome, Julia McRae, Racheal, Emily, Jack Burton, Kayliegh McDonald, Alisha Matthews, Ashleigh, Josalyn Smithers-McDow, Erica, Drew and Ryan McDow.

Due to Covid-19 there will be no service at this time.
