He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Douglas Troup and Ella Lillian Troup; and his parents-in-law, Oscar Peterson and Hildra Peterson. He is survived by: his wife Monica Troup; his children, Sheri Hegseth (Kevin) of Lloydminster and Daryl Troup (Natalie) of Sherwood Park; his grandchildren, Maren Hegseth, Aven Hegseth, Londyn Troup and Sam Troup; his brothers, Gordon Troup of Peace River and Gary Troup (Lucy) of Calgary; his niece Chelsea; his nephew Devin; his brother-in-law Glenn Peterson (Anna) of Marwayne; his nieces and nephews, Cleo Wolstenholme (Keith) of Red Deer, Misty Smereka (Tim) of Elk Point and Kelsie Peterson (Kendall) of Marwayne; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Arwynn, Bronwyn Wolstenholme, Avery, Evett and Hadley Smereka. He is also survived by friends and many cousins.
