She was predeceased by: her husband Wesley Rammel; her son Kirk Rammel; and her granddaughter Christina Rammel. She is survived by: her son Grant Rammel (Lynn); her granddaughter Jody; her significant other Alyssa; her daughter Raylene Cooper (Curtis); her grandsons, Chelby and Brayden; her daughter-in-law Ilda Joubert; her sons, Ryland (Lorelei) and Brannon; her granddaughter Kori McEwen; her siblings, Stewart Mitchell, Barney Mitchell (Leona) and Ruth Martens; and her sister-in-law Beverly Abel. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and relatives.

Donations in memory of Betty may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or Canadian Cancer Society.
