She was predeceased by: her former husband Peter Lakusta; her daughter Julie Lakusta; her parents, Nelson and Elsa Nelson; her sister-in-law Joan Nelson; her brother Vernon Nelson; her siblings-in-law, Susie Nelson and Frank Schmidt; her sister Helen Schmidt; her parents-in-law, John Lakusta and Zenovia Lakusta; and her brothers-in-law, Walter Lacusta and Harold Almond.

She is survived by: her husband Robert McCormack; her son Owen Lakusta (Lynn) of Lloydminster; her granddaughter Candice Daniels (Tanner); her great grandchildren, Isaac and Gryffin of Whitecourt; her daughter Brooklyn (Tye Lakusta) of Lloydminster; her brothers, Lee Nelson of Clandonald and Leslie Nelson (Margie) of St. Albert; and her sisters-in-law, Lovette Dove, Iris Almond and Elaine Lacusta. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
