He was predeceased by: his parents, Edmund Simons and Beatrice Simons; his grandson Michael W. Simons; his daughter-in-law Roberta Simons; his sisters, Doreen Grahn and Betty Harbin; his siblings-in-law, Stan Grahn, Don Harbin and Hazel Simons; and his uncle Sid Simons.

He is survived by: his children, Rod Simons (Marcia), Darlene Simons, Michael Simons (Linda), Leigh Simons, Greg Simons (Stewart), Wendy Wack (Brian), Glenda Hardes (Gilbert) and Randy Simons; his grandchildren, Kevin Simons (Lauren), Scott Simons (Lisa), Trish Cousins (Matt), Trina Zirrie (Neal), Alana Kublik (Konan), Chrissy Harwood (Eugene), Brad Simons (Ashley), Nicholas Simons (Tatsiana), Philip Simons (Emily), Bryna Osman (Mansour), Curtis Wack, Kyle Wack (Olivia), Victoria Hollis (Michael), Joshua Wack (Samantha), Janine Wack, Melody Rosin (Danny), Jason Hardes (Jaime), Cole Hardes (Danielle) and Ben Hardes (Kayla); his brother David Simons; his former wife Ruby Simons; and his daughter Hazel Morris. He is also survived by 33 great-grandchildren, her children; and nieces, nephews and friends.
