She was predeceased by: her father Daniel Maier (Nettie); her siblings, Rueben, William Maier and Ella (Dahlton Lewis); her son-in-law Blair McDonald; and her nephew Brian Gerbrandt.

She is survived by: her husband Irven Pilling; her children, Starla Denny (Rick), Sherry McDonald and Brent Pilling (Jeanette); her grandchildren, Robert Denny (Heather), Christina Denny, Stephen Pilling (Tammy), Craig Pilling, Jamey Pilling (Scott), Justin McDonald (Shelby), Austin McDonald (Tori), Tristin McDonald (Jordyn) and Karstin McDonald (Kassi); her great grandchildren, Jesse Denny, Parker Denny (Brooke), Mason Denny, Jordan Rhode, Christopher Rhode (Emily), Ceanna Rhode, Kolby Carlson, Berkley Carlson, Flora McDonald and Thatcher McDonald; her sister Ida; her brother-in-law Dick Gerbrandt; her nephews, Wayne Gerbrandt (Brenda), Les Gerbrandt and Wade Lewis (Vicki); her niece Twyla Szoke (Nick); and her niece-in-law Susan Gerbrandt.

A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Livelong Complex.
