She was predeceased by: her husband Mert; and her siblings, Stan, Barbara, Lloyd and Eileen.

She is survived by: her sons, Stacy, Randy and Todd; her grandchildren, Bradley, Alyse, Keara, Daylan, Gavin, Michael, Curtis and Courtney; her brother Edgar of Green Valley, Arizona.; her nephews, Orkney and Drumheller; her caregivers, Hanna and Westview; and also, Ruth, Marcel and Faye.

An active partner on the farm, and raising three boys, Jean also had a vibrant social life and made valuable contributions to her community.
