She was predeceased by: her father Jim Stoakley. She is survived by: her husband Vincent Ellert; her sons, David (Corinna), Jonah and Cameron; her mother Anne Stoakley; and her siblings, Vivienne Brevik and Cliff Stoakley (Chris).
In lieu of flowers Wendy requested donations for a cause which was important to her; the funding of Science Workshops for children.
