It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wally Courtoreille (Lethbridge, Alberta), born in Fort Vermilion, Alberta, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Courtoreille and Violet Courtoreille; and his siblings, Johnnie Courtoreille, Dennis Courtoreille, Bernice Giroux, Ken Courtoreille, Hughie Courtoreille and Diane Breleand.
He is survived by: his children, Darylee Gerard, Trevor Gerard (Sarah) and Brandon Finley; his grandchildren, Keysha, Cassius and Siarah; his siblings, Darlene Collins, Donna Courtoreille, Shirley Higa (Allen), Alice Finley (Gerry), Beverly Sakal, Graham Courtoreille and Doc Courtoreille (Francine); the mother of his children Peggy Gerard; and his significant other Shelley Vielle. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and their families and friends.
