She was predeceased by: her parents, Yuichi Katakami and Yasuno Katakami of Stave Falls, BC.; her husband Tom (Tom); and her son Gene Tajiri. She is survived by: her children, Brian, Craig Tajiri and Gail Ikebuchi; her grandchildren, Bradley Tajiri (Kelsea), Tyler Ikebuchi, Stephanie Reynolds (Bryan) and Stacey Petite (Brandon); and her great grandchildren, Ryan Tajiri, Emmitt, MacKinnon Reynolds, Leo and Charlie Petite.
