Toshiko Tanaka Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Toshiko Tanaka (Lethbridge, Alberta), who passed away on December 2, 2019, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Genye; and her siblings, Shoji Koyata, Natsuko Sawada, Mae Sasaki, Minoru Koyata and Hikoza Koyata.
She is survived by: her children, Tomiye "Tammy" Tanaka of New York City, Eichi Tanaka (Betty) of Lethbridge, Masaye Tanaka of Calgary, David Tanaka (Linda) of Lethbridge, Dorene Gordon of Lethbridge and Terry Tanaka of Lethbridge; her grandchildren, Darcee Richardson, Kelly Tanaka (Jeanne), Nikki Gordon, Dionne Gordon and Tracey (Ron); her great grandchildren, Anthony Richardson, Kristen Richardson, Victoria Doeve (Curtis), Kynan Gordon, Kaiden Tanaka and Dylan Tanaka; her siblings, Takeshi "Ted" Koyata of Lethbridge, Fumiko Sekiya of Edmonton and Isamu "Sam" Koyata of Toronto; and also, Takejiro and Isa Koyata. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
