It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Takeshi Koyata (Lethbridge, Alberta), born in Raymond, Alberta, who passed away on July 16, 2023, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Takejiro Koyata and Isa Koyata; and his wife Sueko. He is survived by: his children, Leslie (Marilyn), Alan (Carla), Gloria Papworth (Richard), Wayne and Hugh (Ruth); his brother Isamu (Sam) of Toronto; and his sisters-in-law, Jane, Setchan and Katie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Anyone wishing to honour Dads life can do so by donating to the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta or a charity of one's choice.
