She was predeceased by: her former husband Maarten Pouwelse; her husband Cornelis Van Seters; and her parents, Reint Smit and Jantje Smit. She is survived by: her daughter Janny; her son-in-law Joop Harthoorn; and her sister Ann Wikkerink of Vancouver Island. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and presently 26 great grandchildren.
