It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sigmund Javorsky of Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let his loved ones carry forward the torch of his memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of his love and the brilliance of his spirit. Though Sigmund may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Javorsky; his daughter Karen Basarab (Troy); and his grandchildren, Cam and Micheline (Dan).
A memorial service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Southside Penecostal Assembly (2821 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6J6B7).
