It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shizuye Shirley Taniguchi of Lethbridge, Alberta, born in Mission, British Columbia, who passed away on June 28, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert "Bob" Taniguchi of Lethbridge; her parents, Kyusaburo Tatebe and Chiye Tatebe; and her brothers, Joe, Sam, Harry and Ken Tatebe.
She is survived by: her children, Joanne O'Gilvie (Hal), Cathy Taniguchi, Alan Taniguchi, David Taniguchi and Rick Taniguchi (Donna); and her sisters-in-law, Ayako and Betty Taniguchi. She is also survived by her numerous nieces, nephews.
