She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Wakelin; and her brother Roy Watson (Pauline). She is survived by: her children, Phil Wakelin (Dianna) of Fort Macleod, Joy Ewasiuk (Ron) of St. Albert, Harvey Wakelin of Fort Macleod, Hal Wakelin (Yvonne) of Lethbridge, Doris Petherbridge of St. Albert and Mavis Kaufman (Paul) of Westlock; her grandchildren, Richard (Letisha), Brent (Carolynn), Michelle (Andrew), Amy, David (Jodie), Sheena (Jon), Mallory (Jordan), Wesley (Joanne), Ben and Crystal (Tyler); and her great grandchildren, Samantha (Bill), Kurtis (Kayla), Zachary, Patience, Miles, Anthony, Madison (Josiah), Sydney, Grant, Tessa, Annabelle, Jagger, Isla, Sophia, Madeline, Jaxon, Nixon, Charlotte and Violet. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
