He was predeceased by: his parents, Lilly Louise Flock and John Wesley Jacobson; his stepfather Henry Stephen Flock; his former wife Sonja Currie (Currie); his children, Jill and Ronald; and his siblings, John Kenneth Carl Jacobson and Karen Patriquin.

He is survived by: his wife Mariette Céline (Dufresne); his son John Jacobson (Debi); his stepdaughter Martine Lapierre (Jack Van Rijn); his brother Doran (Annabelle); his grandchildren, Taylor Lapierre (Carson Van Iderstine), Jesse Jacobson (Charla) and Jared LeBlanc; and his great grandchild Poppy Jacobson. He is also survived by several nieces and their partners.
