It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Claire Venables of Lethbridge, Alberta, born in Brandon, Manitoba, who passed away on February 18, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Venables and Mary Venables; his former wife Connie Field; his brother Ted; and his sister-in-law Laura.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his children, Dianne Porter (Shane), Rod (Shelly), Dan and Jeff (Karen); his stepchildren, Pat Olson (Dave) and Bill Rollingson; his brother Gary (Marion); and his close friends, Karl Johnson (Doreen) and Glen Richardson (Jeanette). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
