He was predeceased by: his wife Beatrice McMurren; his sons, Harry and Roy McMurren; his parents, Goldie Kesler and Harry McMurren; and his siblings, Addie Perdue and Stan McMurren.
He is survived by: his children, Mel McMurren, Jan Cook, Marion McMurren, Karen Zimmerman and John McMurren (Lindsay); and his daughter-in-law Delores McMurren. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
