He was predeceased by: his parents, Emelia Marie (Baines) and Bertalon Varga; and his siblings, Luke, George and Laurie.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Courtorelle; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Grace, Inge and Nathaniel; his sons, Richard (Sara), Michael (Kendra) and Timothy; and his sister Rita Tarasoff (Hank). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
