It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Minako Kanashiro (Lethbridge, Alberta), born in New Westminster, British Columbia, who passed away on April 14, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Kazuyoshi Hirotsu and Kikuye Hirotsu; her husband Jim Kanashiro; her daughter Gwen; and her brother Tak.

She is survived by: her friend Doreen Gyorkos; her children, Kevin, Kelly (Stephanie), Sherry (Keith), Lisa (Dominic) and Carla; and her siblings, Yuki (Dick), Leslie and Rick. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, brother and sister in laws.
