She was predeceased by: her husband Shigemi Ohno; her parents, Hisae Miyagawa and Hikojiro Miyagawa; and her siblings, Hideko, Akiko, Keiko, Osamu, Jiro, Tosh, Bob and Masato.
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Tim (Deb), Dale (Karen), Lorraine, Brent, Dawn (Yvon) and Randy; and her sisters, Shirley Higa and Sonoko Takasaki. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of koden and flowers, donations may be made to St Michaels Palliative Care or to the Buddhist Temple of Southern Alberta.
