Marilyn Fletcher Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 23, 2021, Marilyn Fletcher in Lethbridge, Alberta, born in Bentley, Alberta passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chris Riis and Jessy Riis; her brothers, Jack Riis and Roger Riis; her daughter-in-law Wanda Graber; and also, Ken, Wanda Fletcher, Allen Fletcher and George Lowe.

She is survived by: her children, Janine Paterson (Tom) of Taber, Candis Derksen (Darin), Stacy Pelesky (Darren), Daina Paterson, Judy Astalos (Andy) of Sylvan Lake, Ryan Astalos (Tabitha), Samantha Priegnitz (Chad), Megan Astalos, David Fletcher (Heather) of Blackfalds, Devin Fletcher, Blanca Fletcher, Shawn Fletcher (Brittany), Dallen Baugh (Amal) and Kayla Baugh; her sisters-in-law, Cecile Jespersen (Roger), Roberta Robson, Judy Plunkie and Arlene Lowe; and her children-in-law, Kathy Rempel and Daniel Derksen. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

As a result of the restrictions regarding COVID-19 and the government recommendations, a private funeral service was held at Southland Funeral Chapel, Taber on Saturday, February 27, 2021 with Shelly Bassett officiating.
