He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Piepgrass and Iona Piepgrass; his daughter Cindy Delina Bouchard; his siblings, David Piepgrass and Jean Lybbert; and his brother-in-law Alvin Meldrum.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Patricia Piepgrass; and his sisters, Kay Meldrum and Marilyn Still (Phill).
