Lorne Orvil Smith Obituary

He was predeceased by: his siblings, Arvilla Pitcher (DeCon), Earl Smith (Irene) and Sharon Howells (Chad). He is survived by: his children, Danielle Fehr (Cori) of Raymond, Lorena Engen (Aaron) of Okotoks, Wendy Bennett (Rod) of Lethbridge, Lynn Hill (late Ron) of Raymond, Colin Smith (Camie) of Portland, Orvil Smith (Marilyn) of Calgary, Cheryl Lewis (Roger) of Cardston and Diane Crane (Trevor) of Great Falls; and his wife Virginia Paxman. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren and 76 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Same Chapel. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Forestry Ave Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (4105 Forestry Ave S, Lethbridge, AB T1K4Z6).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Lethbridge Food Bank at 1016 – 2 Ave S, Lethbridge, AB T1J 0C9.
