He was predeceased by: his sister Sharon; his wife Katrina; and his daughters, Alexandria, Savannah, Sierra, Leah and Felicity.

He is survived by: his parents, Alida Herfst and Harry Vanee (Lorraine); and his siblings, Laura Maljaars (Ed), Julie Haarman (Gerrit), Wayne Vanee (Jody) and Steve Vanee (Teresa). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
