He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Renner and Ruth Renner; his siblings, Brent, Richard, Dave, Ron and Shirley; and his father-in-law Pat Lund.

He is survived by: his wife Terrie Renner; his daughters, Cassandra Renner of Kamloops and Kennedy Renner of Cochrane; his grandchildren, Kash and Sawyer Gaudet; his brother Gary Renner; his sister-in-law Donna Renner; his mother-in-law Johanne Lund; and his siblings-in-law, Judy Birch (Tom) and Todd Lund. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
