He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Kotkas and Jean Kotkas; his sister Loreen "Koke"; and his son Kerwin. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Chris Kotkas (Dianne) of Lethbridge, Ken Jr. Kotkas (Samantha) of Calgary and Jim Kotkas (Darci) of Lethbridge; his grandchildren, Jamy, Logan, Keedan, Joel, Jarred, Nora, Katie, Jay and Kara; and his brother Perry (Karen). He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
