He was predeceased by: his daughter Janice. He is survived by: his wife Teena; his children, Helen Pierce (Tom), Albert (Laurie), Katherine, Bruce, Daniel (Melodie), Christine Olthuis (Jeremy), Evelyn and Suzanne Kimble (Brennan); his grandchildren, Nancy, Ryan Pierce (Vanessa), Amy Ellens (Jonathan), Bradley (Jenny), Clayton (Karli), Trevor Hogle, Jacquelyn Hogle, Kaitlyn Burnard (Matt), Evan (Lucienne), Madison Olthuis, Jake Olthuis, Lucas Kimble, Grace Kimble and Trinity Kimble; and his sister Rennie Westergreen. He is also survived by 3 step grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
When he wasn't playing, he loved watching curling and when Covid stopped live curling, he watched the re-runs!
