He was predeceased by: his parents, David Krahn and Anna Krahn; and his sisters, Judy Bueckert, Mary Krahn and Helen Krahn.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jake Bueckert, Dan Krahn, Stella (Tomo Kedoin), Neil (Rosalee Krahn), Katherine Krahn, Henry (Caroline Krahn), James (Dawn Krahn), Bernie (Corenna Krahn), Tim (Evi Krahn) and Margie (Brian Schellenberg). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
